About

Hailing from the land down under, this Australian power metal outfit burst onto the scene in 2001 under the moniker Kymera, founded by guitarist Steve Janevski and bassist Cory Betts, a seasoned veteran of the metal world with roots in Pegazus. With a string of critically-acclaimed releases under their belt, including a three-track sampler album that caught the attention of LMP Records, they've since become a force to be reckoned with in the global metal scene. Their latest studio album, Oceans Of Black, dropped in June 2025, cementing their status as a major player in the world of power metal.
