End Times Teaching: Then and Now

In this episode we examine common criticisms of a pre-tribulation rapture and contrast those with firsthand experiences from the Calvary Chapel movement. We discuss the claims that rapture teaching encouraged fear, date-setting, or irresponsible living, but also look at personal testimonies of how these teachings actually inspired hope, faithful service, evangelism, and genuine conversions. Christ's return has been a source of encouragement rather than anxiety for many believers. Many Christians believe the world is witnessing a unique convergence of prophetic signs unlike any previous generation. From the rebirth of Israel and advances in technology to the rapid increase of knowledge and global developments, we discuss how these events relate to biblical prophecy and the promise of Christ's return.
