Matt and Remi Jenkins report from Bangkok Utd’s opening day win against Prachuap; Chonburi fan “Tiger” Tim shares his optimism following the Sharks’ excellent start to life in T2; Dale interviews Chantaburi centre back Clyde O’Connell on his career so far and life in Thailand; plus Jim joins us from Brighton to revel in Port’s victory over Rayong and explains how you can enter a fun Thai football competition. FORE!! Theme Tune: ‘Lip Splint’ by American TV Cops Photo: Marco Competition details: Thai league guess up. Shamelessly stolen from the #Jpred of the J League. It's time for the first #Tpred. Guess who will be the Top 3 in T1 and the 3 to go up in T2. Along with the bottom 3 in both divisions. Get a team's exact position its 3 points, elsewhere in the top or bottom 3 and they get you 1. Slight variation in T2 first, second and bottom 3 as above. Little change for third place pick. One point for making top 6. One for placing 3rd and one if they are the playoff winners. It's just for fun and there will be a champion overall and of T1 and T2, so you can enter for just one division, if you wish. Please use teams correct name and only place them in one position. I’ll close entries before the kick off of the first game of Round 2 in T1. As a Thai breaker guess how many league goals the lowest scoring team from the two divisions score in the coming season. Please just add your entry in the following format or as close as possible. T1 1. Buriram 2. BGPU 3. Port 14. Rayong 15. Sukhothai 16. ChiangRai U T2 1. Chonburi 2. Trat 3. Chiang Mai United 16. Kasetsart 17. Chainat Hornbill 18. Samut Prakan City Thai Breaker 22 Reply to the Sandpit Twitter https://x.com/portfcsandpit
