Dr. David Harrison on A History of Secret Societies

We explore the history of fraternal societies in modernity. Beyond popular groups such as the Freemasons and the Order of the Golden Dawn, we examine lesser-known ones like the Order of the Elks, the Druids, the Old Mechanics, and many others. From symbolism to rituals to social activism, it’s an odyssey on the impact of secret societies, all the while separating legend from fact.
