The Heat Look SCARY… & Tyler Herro STILL Can’t Stop Talking About Miami

The new-look Miami Heat made quite a first impression—and now one of their former stars is still talking about his old team.

After Miami’s impressive preseason opener gave us our first real glimpse of how Giannis Antetokounmpo, Bam Adebayo and the Heat’s new collection of shooters can fit together, we’re breaking down what actually matters from Game 1 and what might have been a preseason overreaction.

Giannis’ playmaking could completely change Miami’s offense, Andrew Wiggins and Tim Hardaway Jr. showed what shooting around him can look like, and the early Giannis-Bam results were extremely encouraging.

But there’s another story developing off the court.

Former Heat guard Tyler Herro says he was actually pushing for the trade to Milwaukee because he wanted a fresh start, and during a SiriusXM interview he also joked about discovering that Miami isn’t the only organization with “culture.”

So are these harmless comments from a player enjoying his new situation—or is Herro still taking shots at the organization he spent seven seasons with?

We’re talking about all of it on Battered Heat Fans: Giannis’ first impression, the Giannis-Bam fit, Miami’s shooting, the rotation battles, what still needs improvement, and the latest chapter of the Tyler Herro-Miami breakup.
