Would Miami Be Better Without Bam?! Did the Heat Make a Mistake Trading for Giannis?

DID THE MIAMI HEAT TRADE THE WRONG PLAYERS FOR GIANNIS?

The Miami Heat are 0-4 to start the 2026-27 NBA season, and one comment from our last Battered Heat Fans episode has sparked a fascinating debate!

Would Miami have been better off trading Bam Adebayo for Giannis Antetokounmpo instead of giving up Tyler Herro, Jaime Jaquez Jr., and Kel'el Ware?

Instead of trying to figure out how Giannis and Bam can coexist offensively, Miami could have surrounded Giannis with more perimeter scoring, shooting, young talent, and a developing center in Ware.

Would that have been a better fit?

On today's episode of Battered Heat Fans, we're taking a deep dive into this hypothetical trade scenario and debating whether Miami would have been better positioned to compete with Giannis if Bam had been the centerpiece of the Milwaukee trade.

👇 Which roster would YOU rather have?

OPTION A: Giannis + Bam + the current Heat supporting cast

OPTION B: Giannis + Herro + Jaquez + Ware, with Bam in Milwaukee
