An Hour of Terror in the Pine Barrens | New Jersey

What happens when a young girl’s summer afternoon turns into a stand-off with something that shouldn’t exist — right at the edge of the New Jersey Pine Barrens? In this chilling episode, Star recounts the summer day in the early ’90s when she and her mother stood frozen at the window, watching a massive, dark-haired figure pace back and forth behind the backyard pool fence — for nearly an hour. You’ll hear about the uneasy feeling of being watched from the treeline, strange lights streaking across the night sky, and a mysterious elderly couple living deep in the woods who claimed to have fled Germany after the war. From near-death experiences to unexplained phenomena, this is one Pine Barrens encounter you won’t forget.
