Profiling, Pranks & Deviled Eggs

Comedian, retired strip club DJ, Uber driver, and bartender Doug Phelps returns to Billified: The Bill Moran Podcast for a wild ride of laughter, controversy, and brutally honest conversation.

An email sparked by their last episode—about Bill’s trip to Rochester’s infamous Jay Street—sets the tone, launching a debate on profiling. Bill insists we all do it and sometimes need to for safety. Doug wonders if this is Bill’s first complaint. Spoiler: It’s not. Bill shares some of the juiciest emails the podcast has ever received.

The conversation twists into dating dynamics, including the infamous “big fat friend” trope. Bill plays a Stephen Lynch song from 20 years ago that still makes him laugh—Doug’s more curious about who Stephen Lynch even is.

Then it’s time to talk pranks: Enter Tommy Tuff Knuckles, a social media prankster who pushed the envelope… and ended up arrested on felony charges. Bill and Doug listen to his pranks, discuss the ethics of internet stunts, and wonder: If social media had existed when you were younger, would you have pulled the same pranks?

Things heat up again with a debate over whether Ozempic has a hidden benefit for men. Bill’s skeptical. Doug’s intrigued. Decide for yourself—or share your own experience!

Plus: A surprising revelation about a music legend Bill and Doug both admire—multiple suicide attempts, an affair, a marriage, and a divorce. Can you still separate the art from the artist?

Doug’s deviled egg dreams may be turning into a side hustle as Bill pushes him to start a business.

And next time Doug’s on, he’s bringing a guest who’s guaranteed to get under his skin—just the way Bill likes it.

Subscribe, laugh, cringe, and join the conversation. This episode has everything.
