Classic Moment: Online Shopping

As the holiday season is in full swing, many of us are turning to online shopping to get our loved ones the perfect gifts. But, as our caller Fran from North Andover can attest, the process isn't always as smooth as we'd like it to be. In this episode, our host chats with listeners about the frustrations of online shopping, from lost packages to confusing shipping options.

Online shopping can be a convenient and often cost-effective way to get what we need, but it's not without its pitfalls. Our host and callers share their experiences with delayed deliveries, missing packages, and confusing communication from shipping companies. From the importance of being cautious with links in text messages to the perils of buying from social media ads, our host and callers dive into the ups and downs of online shopping.

One of the biggest issues our callers face is the lack of communication from shipping companies. Fran shares her experience with a FedEx driver who "yeeted" her package onto her lawn, while another caller shares her frustration with the website Shop, which processes payments but has unresponsive customer service. Our host also discusses the importance of being aware of red flags, such as free shipping with no options for expedited shipping.

If you're one of the many people who have experienced the stress and frustration of online shopping, you won't want to miss this episode. Our host and callers share their tips and tricks for navigating the world of online shopping, from being cautious with links in text messages to knowing when to trust a shipping company.
