Woodpeckers Love Ants
Woodpeckers, as a group, eat far more ants than most other birds do. A Pileated Woodpecker’s diet may be up to 50% ants! More info and transcript at BirdNote.org . Want more BirdNote? Subscribe to our weekly newsletter.
