Analysing Anfield: Liverpool's Gini Wijnaldum contract stance which hints towards long-term transfer strategy

After Wolves were comfortably beaten by Liverpool on Sunday night, the Analysing Anfield podcast is back to review that game and preview the trip to Fulham next weekend. Josh Williams and David Hughes also talk Gini Wijnaldum's contract situation, and why a new deal for the Dutch midfielder is not necessarily the right thing to do for the Reds long-term. They also reflect on Roberto Firmino's upturn in form, plus look ahead to the Champions League clash with FC Midtjylland on Wednesday. Caoimhin Kelleher, Neco Williams and Curtis Jones are among those young starlets impressing for Liverpool at the moment and all three could feature in that game. After discussing that trip, talk turns to Fulham and why Scott Parker's side are probably better than you might think, with a couple of players to watch for among their ranks including André-Frank Zambo Anguissa.
