Buckeye Talk Headlines, June 11
Ohio State hired Jocelyn Gates as the senior associate athletic director who oversees football. She will have a lead role in setting the Buckeyes' future football schedule. Former North Carolina kicker Noah Ruggles announced his commitment to Ohio State as a graduate transfer. He will compete with Jake Seibert for kicking duties this fall. Kaleb Brown, a top-100 receiver from Chicago's St. Rita High School, became the 13th commitment and third receiver in Ohio State's 2022 recruiting class. Ohio State's second week of day camps featured some intriguing international talent, including defensive tackle Hero Kanu from Germany and tight end Theo Melin Ohrstrom from Sweden. Playoff expansion seems inevitable after a recommendation from a College Football Playoff working group to move from four teams to 12. See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
