Ep. 266: The most exciting Ohio State player this season; basketball tourney preview; assistant coach salaries

On this Buckeye Talk episode, a text subscriber asks an intriguing question -- outside of Justin Fields and Garrett Wilson, who will be the most exciting Ohio State football player in the 2020 season? Doug Lesmerises, Nathan Baird and Stephen Means have a wide variety of answers to that question -- and many others. This Buckeye Talk delves into more than an hour of football questions, from Wilson as a punt returner to picking the starting running back for Week 2. Then it's a 30-minute preview of Ohio State basketball as the Buckeyes prepare for tourney time, in the Big Ten Tournament and NCAA Tournament. We give some predictions on how the coronavirus will affect college sports (although that changes by the minute) and then we debate whether Ohio State football assistants get paid too much, with results from a text subscriber poll on that subject. As usual, thanks for listening, and be well out there in Buckeye Nation. Thanks for being part of our pod. See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
