In Washington D.C., two men are now in custody charged with the brutal robbery and murder of a resident who opened his apartment door, only to be beaten, strangled, bound, and left in a fire set after his death. In Virginia, the search for a missing 18-year-old ended in heartbreak after his body was recovered from a pond, with investigators saying his death is connected to a separate homicide discovered just days earlier in the same county.
