Codegas Codex Of Curiousoties- Blind Eyes, Clear Sight: James Salcedo on a Lifetime of Hauntings

James Salcedo, host of Salcedo Paranormal and a contributor to the Trouble Minds Radio Network, joins this
episode to share a lifetime of paranormal encounters shaped by an unusual gift: profound sensory awareness
despite being legally blind. From a childhood sighting of a floating, apparition-like woman and a vanishing black
cat to a years-long dream sequence that led him to a name and a burial location, James walks through some of the
most vivid ghost encounters and EVP recordings of his research career.
This episode is presented by Codega's Codex of Curiosities, a weekly podcast exploring paranormal encounters,

Topics Discussed:
● A childhood sighting, alongside a cousin, of an elderly apparition floating above a basement clothesline
with no visible feet or body
● A black cat that vanished and reappeared without a sound in the same basement, suggesting it wasn't a
living animal
● How James's low vision may have heightened his other senses, allowing him to perceive apparitions with
unusual clarity
● A recurring dream sequence pointing to a young girl named "Maggie" who died in a fire and was buried
near a local church
● An EVP recording captured at a training center that caught a woman's voice searching for James by name,
a decade after his first encounter there
● The unexplained equipment malfunctions that accompanied the recording, and how they resolved only
once the file was deleted
