Bill Burr Praises ‘Digger,’ Nikki Glaser on Kids, and New Comedy Specials & Deals
Johnny Mac delivers comedy news led by Bill Burr urging listeners to see the film “Digger,” calling critics clueless and praising Tom Cruise and John Goodman, with comparisons to “Dr. Strangelove.” He then riffs on a Nicolas Cage John Madden biopic trailer and notes Frank Caliendo’s Madden voice clip. Nikki Glaser, on Kylie Kelce’s “Not Gonna Lie,” discusses never wanting kids but feeling sadness that her chance for biological children is slipping away, saying she didn’t freeze her eggs. The trailer drops for Diane Morgan’s mockumentary series “Cunk on Cinema,” hitting Netflix (US) Nov. 15 and BBC iPlayer (UK). Announcements include Justin McKinney’s YouTube special Nov. 23, Zarna Garg’s first Netflix stand-up special, Druski’s Netflix content deal and series “Collect and Praise,” Miss Pat hosting VH1’s “America’s Funniest People,” Jon Stewart’s behind-the-scenes “Daily Show” video, Tracy Morgan promoting a new NBC sitcom, and Rachel Kaly’s off-Broadway solo show “Hospital Hour” produced by Bob Odenkirk and directed by Chris Fleming.
