Stop Being Comfortable With Mediocre Christianity

Have you become comfortable with spiritual mediocrity?

In this episode of Take Heart, Cory Wing challenges Christians to reject complacency and pursue genuine growth in godliness. Drawing from 1 Timothy 4:11–16, Cory examines how our speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity should reflect a life devoted to Christ.

This episode explores the importance of the ordinary means of grace—Scripture, prayer, preaching, and the sacraments—and the responsibility of every believer to faithfully use the gifts God has given them.

Spiritual growth requires perseverance, discipline, and a lifelong commitment to God's Word. But godliness isn't about earning God's favor. It's about growing in the grace we have already received through Jesus Christ.

Stop settling. Pursue godliness. Take your faith seriously.
