Nico Iamaleava Leaves Vols & Sacramento State To The FBS | The College Football Experience (Ep. 1851)

The College Football Experience ( @TCEonSGPN ) on the Sports Gambling Podcast Network reacts to the wild news of Tennessee Volunteers starting QB Nico Iamaleava transferring out of Knoxville and Sacramento State leaving the Big Sky and the FCS for the FBS as an Independent in 2026. Pick Dundee aka ( @TheColbyD ) & Ryan McIntyre ( @Moneyline_Mac ) break down both scenarios and make sense of it all. Did Josh Heupel and the Tennessee Volunteers handle the situation the correct way with Imaaleava asking for double his salary? How will the Tennessee Volunteers look with Jake Merklinger and will they go after another QB in the portal and who might it be? Did Nico Iamaleava and his camp really botch this scenario or will he land at power school and make the money he was demanding? Did Bill Belichick and the North Carolina Tar Heels land a good one in South Alabama QB Gio Lopez? How will Maxx Crosby be as GM of the Eastern Michigan Eagles in the MAC? Could Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes make a run at Nico Iamaleava? Will the USC Trojans or UCLA Bruins be a team to lookout for? How will Brennan Marion hire work out at Sacramento State and what should we expect from the Sac State Hornets recent announcement of moving up to the FBS? Will Sacramento State eventually end up in the Big 12? Should the NCAA allow Sacramento State to play in the FCS Playoffs this year? We talk it all and more on this episode of The College Football Experience. 00:26 Welcome to the College Football Experience 01:12 Nico's Transfer and NIL Drama 02:53 Co-Host Introduction and Initial Reactions 03:53 Nico's Performance and Market Value 08:57 Potential Destinations for Nico 17:32 Speculations on Nico's Future 30:12 The Bidding War in College Football 31:42 Tennessee's Quarterback Dilemma 32:42 Tennessee's Challenging Schedule 34:03 The Importance of Quarterback Play 42:17 Sacramento State's Ambitious Move to FBS 47:36 Sac State's Future and Potential 56:14 College Football Experience Wrap-Up Exclusive SGPN Bonuses And Links http://linktr.ee/sportsgamblingpodcast Follow The Sports Gambling Podcast X/Twitter - https://x.com/GamblingPodcast Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/sportsgamblingpodcast TikTok - https://www.tiktok.com/@gamblingpodcast Facebook - http://www.facebook.com/sportsgamblingpodcast Gambling problem?
