On The Continent: Thiago Motta returns to Genoa, Dick Advocaat steps in at Feyenoord, and Atléti head to Sevilla

After a midweek packed full of continental football, Luke’s back at Football Ramble Daily HQ to run through it all alongside our continental compatriots James Horncastle and Andy Brassell! Ya!

We begin over in Serie A and, as many listeners have been asking about him, discuss Thiago Motta’s recent appointment as the new coach of Genoa. There’s also talk about yesterday’s humdinger between Napoli and Atalanta, and Fiorentina favourite Franc Ribery earning himself a three match ban for pushing a referee. Elsewhere, Andy talks us through the links between Patrick Viera and the Arsenal job, as well as Dick Advocaat being confirmed as Jaap Stam’s replacement as coach of Feyenoord.

And if you think we don’t have time for chat about GoldenEye and airports then you, dear listener, are greatly mistaken.
