Ramble Meets... Alan Curbishley

Alan Curbishley has managed over 700 games at Premier League and Championship level, making him still, after eight years out of the game, one of the top ten most experienced managers in top flight football.

Here in this exclusive and revealing interview with Football Ramble Daily, he talks us through his career from the highs of achieving promotion to the Premier League in dramatic fashion with Charlton Athletic to the lows of his contentious exit from West Ham while still at the peak of his powers, as well as how close he came to the England job in 2006, and why Thierry Henry still brings him out in a nervous sweat.
