704 // Proverbs 9: Why Wisdom Is a Matter of Life or Death

704 // Proverbs 9: Why Wisdom Is a Matter of Life or Death In today’s episode of the Hearing Jesus Podcast, we’re studying Proverbs chapter 9—a pivotal moment in our wisdom journey through the book of Proverbs. This chapter reveals the stark contrast between wisdom and folly, showing how our choices lead us toward life or death. We’ll unpack the imagery of wisdom’s house with its seven pillars, representing completeness, and explore how wisdom stands as an open invitation to align our lives with God’s truth. In contrast, folly lures us with false promises and hidden traps, reminding us of the destructive path sin often takes. Through this passage, we’re reminded that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and when we lean into His character and guidance, we not only gain understanding but also experience a life rich with purpose and direction. You’ll hear practical insights on how to recognize God’s voice, avoid the traps of folly, and step into the fullness of the life God has planned for you. ☆ SUBSCRIBE TO OUR PATREON ☆ : patreon.com/HearingJesus _______________________________________ Show Sponsor Partnership Information: ☆To Sponsor a child through Compassion International ➤ Compassion.com/hearingjesus Or text HEARINGJESUS to 83393 ☆Get 10 FREE meals at HelloFresh.com/FREEHEARINGJESUS Applied across 7 boxes, new subscribers only, varies by plan.
