Day 45: Genesis 21:1-21 When Waiting Hurts (2025): Daily Devotional, Daily Bible Study

Genesis 21:1-21 When Waiting Hurts (2025): Daily Devotional, Daily Bible Study Waiting on God’s promises can feel unbearable, especially when doubt creeps in. In Genesis 21, Sarah finally holds her long-awaited promise in her arms—Isaac is born. But joy is met with sorrow as Hagar and Ishmael are cast out, seemingly abandoned. Yet, God steps in. He sees, He hears, and He provides. When Hagar thinks all hope is lost, God reveals a well in the wilderness, proving that He never forgets the rejected, the weary, or the ones who feel unseen. No matter what season you’re in, God is working—even when you can’t see it yet.
