How Did This Get Made?

Seed of Chucky

For our first foray into the Child's Play franchise, Paul, June, & Jason tackle 2004's Seed of Chucky—a slasher comedy that also attempts to be a meta Hollywood satire, a family melodrama, and a queer coming-of-age story. The crew recap Chucky lore (NOT Chuck Lorre) before discussing the Ventriloquism Coachella, Chucky's masturbation scene, Jennifer Tilly & John Waters' standout performances, the logic of doll reproduction, whether Glen/Glenda's nightmare actually happened, Redman's murder, and so much more. Plus, Paul teaches everyone it was totally normal for boys to have a Cabbage Patch Kid. Enter Jason & Aisling Bea's Boobs Raffle at: www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/aisling-bea-taskmaster-boobs-raffle
