The headlines are brutal for Tom Cruise’s new movie ‘Digger’ with major news outlets saying the film is set to lose $150 million dollars after opening to a shocking $8 million dollar debut. The satirical black comedy actually received a decent audience score on Rotten Tomatoes, with fans giving it a 71%, but critics calling it everything from an “unintentionally bad movie” to “insufferably sanctimonious." Cruise took to social media over the weekend to defend the film that he says he was proud and honored to help create. We went to the theaters expecting the worst, and were shocked….
