Michael Delisser: Why Communication Is the Make-or-Break Skill in the Age of AI

Michael Delisser’s journey into the world of leadership began at just 15 years old, sitting quietly in the back of his father’s coaching sessions with Fortune 100 executives. These were elite leaders—brilliant, successful, respected—yet many had been fired for the same reason: ineffective communication. Watching top-tier professionals struggle to unlearn poor habits sparked a passion in him that would shape his life’s work. Today, Michael has built his career around one mission: helping leaders communicate with clarity, awareness, and impact. He understands the gap many organizations create unintentionally—promoting talented individuals for their technical skill while overlooking the communication skills required to lead people. And in a world where AI is taking over more technical tasks than ever, the ability to communicate effectively isn’t just important… it’s make-or-break. Through coaching, speaking, and podcast conversations, Michael brings real-world stories and simple, actionable tools that leaders can use immediately. His work helps people connect better, engage deeper, and deliver results through stronger communication—starting with self-awareness and extending to every interaction that shapes leadership.
