The Manger Cave, the Virgin Mary and the 12 Zodiac Gates of New Jerusalem

Chance and co-host Dylan Saccoccio close out their multi-episode walkthrough of Reverend Robert Taylor’s astronomical-theological lectures.

In this episode: the procession of the equinoxes and how Taylor used it to date scripture, the meaning of Nazareth and the analemma, the symbolism of the resurrection across ancient traditions, the Virgin of the Sea and her connection to Mary, the queen of heaven and the language shared between pagan and Christian liturgies, the documented history of how the Book of Revelation came together, and the 12 gates of New Jerusalem mapped onto the zodiac and the birthstones of each sign.

The closing segment also looks at the natal chart of Inner Whirled itself and what the moment of its launch may reveal about the show’s purpose.
