On the Beat: One Step Forward, Two Steps Back

What a difference one game makes these days in the ACC. North Carolina, not riding high per se, but clearing working its way off the NCAA bubble with solid wins and no bad losses, threw it all away in 40 minutes on Wednesday night in the Smith Center. The InsideCarolina.com OTB Live! Crew of Tommy Ashley, Gregory Hall and Greg Barnes get together to discuss how the Tar Heels managed to fritter away any tournament good will with an awful performance against a bottom of the barrel ACC opponent. Can this team rebuild its resume over the course of the remaining five regular season games? What are the Tar Heels chances for success in Brooklyn next month? Is anywhere other than Dayton a possibility now? All this and more in the latest edition.
