Praying with Someone Opens the Door To Heaven
So often, we notice the people we work with are struggling. We can see that they're down and out and that they sometimes just need a hug. Since hugging isn't always acceptable at work, the second best thing we can do is ask them how they're doing. It opens up a door of opportunity for us to listen. But even after that opportunity to listen, comes the opportunity to pray. When someone has shared something significant with me, I always ask if I can pray with them about that right now. When we pray with people, it opens the door to heaven for them. When we pray with people, they see that God is real. When we pray with people, they can experience God right alongside us. Look for those opportunities to pray with people and see the difference it makes in your relationships at work.
