An Insider’s View on Trans Violence: A Call for Understanding, Love, and Grace | The Jesus People Podcast Episode 36

In this powerful episode, Neeza Powers shares how a life-altering encounter with Jesus reshaped identity, purpose, and courage, just 95 days in. From leaving life as “Nicole” to discovering the fear of the Lord as the beginning of wisdom, Neeza and Ryan wrestle with how boldness and kindness can coexist, and how Christians can love the trans community without dehumanizing people or compromising biblical truth. We also process the public reaction after Charlie Kirk’s death. Why forgiveness is the doorway to revival, and how to respond without vengeance, with truth and love. Key Highlights: Neeza’s testimony: 95 days with Jesus after a radical encounter in the woods Why revival begins with forgiveness (relinquishing vengeance to God) “Truth without love is harsh; love without truth is hollow” Boldness + kindness in evangelism; flipping tables “in our own house” Welcoming vs. affirming: How churches can love without lying Finding “persons of peace” instead of arguing with hardened hearts Seeing the trans community through Imago Dei and genuine compassion A closing prayer for peace, soft hearts, and a wildfire of revival If you or someone you love is wrestling with identity, faith, or church hurt, Neeza’s story offers a clear invitation: you are loved by Jesus, and transformation is possible.
