In Episode 85, Ryan Miller and Jenny Joy go straight into the questions many Christians are asking: Can Christians experience demonic oppression? What are spiritual "open doors"? How does unforgiveness affect our spiritual lives? What does the Bible say about deliverance, soul ties, generational curses, familiar spirits, Jezebel, and spiritual warfare? Jenny also shares from her personal journey out of witchcraft and into freedom in Christ, drawing from years of experience in deliverance ministry and her book, The Witch and the Lamb. The conversation also explores the importance of discernment, emotional healing, healthy boundaries, evangelism, forgiveness, and learning to distinguish biblical truth from fear, speculation, and spiritual confusion. Key Highlights:• What the Bible says about deliverance and spiritual warfare• Demonic oppression vs. ordinary struggles with sin• Unforgiveness, offense, and spiritual bondage• How forgiveness can bring freedom without requiring reconciliation• Soul ties and what Scripture says about becoming "one flesh"• Witchcraft, the occult, and spiritual deception• Familiar spirits and generational patterns• Understanding the Jezebel spirit• How trauma, abuse, addiction, and spiritual struggles can intersect• Taking thoughts captive without denying real emotions• The importance of therapy, healing, prayer, Scripture, and Christian community• How Christians can evangelize people who disagree with biblical Christianity• Discernment and recognizing deception• Why spiritual warfare requires wisdom and strategy• How to approach deliverance with humility, biblical discernment, and dependence on Jesus This conversation is ultimately about one thing: freedom in Christ. If you are wrestling with sin, fear, addiction, pornography, spiritual oppression, or simply trying to understand what biblical deliverance looks like, you do not have to walk alone.
