I started off with the men’s race where we saw Andreas Almgren win in dominant fashion, making himself a major player in the marathon world + a very important win for Nike proving that they have a competitive shoe with Adidas. The women’s race was electric as well, with Sheila Chepkirui coming out on top and American Jess McClain having a heroic finish to outkick Hellen Obiri for 2nd! I also talked about how this affects the marathon scene in the US for the 2028 Olympic Trials!
