EXPECTATIONS: Angels Pitchers Yusei Kikuchi & José Soriano MUST OWN Their Roles to DOMINATE 2026

The Los Angeles Angels set a bold course for 2026 with a "know your role" mantra: can defined expectations transform the Halos' rotation and bullpen? Jon and Mike Frisch, the Super Halo Bros., discuss Yusei Kikuchi’s need to anchor the staff, José Soriano’s high-octane ground-ball game, and the pivotal growth needed from Reid Detmers and Grayson Rodriguez. As the search for a dependable fifth starter continues, they debate whether Alek Manoah can seize a rotation spot or if Perry Minasian must act fast in the free agent market. The Super Halo Bros highlight key bullpen roles for Brock Burke, Ryan Zeferjahn, Chase Silseth, Robert Stephenson, and Ben Joyce, laying out how structure could unlock their best performances. With pointed questions on offensive consistency and strategic veteran leadership, the hosts challenge the Angels to avoid past pitfalls and maximize every player's strength. Are the Angels finally on the path to meaningful October baseball?
