PLAYING GM PART 2: GM Jon Addresses Angels' Hitting & Pitching Issues with ACE Signing & BIG Trades!

The Los Angeles Angels finished 2025 with the worst strikeout rate and batting average in baseball, while their pitching staff ranked 27th in command, but what if you had $51 million and complete control to fix it? Jon Frisch of the Super Halo Bros. takes the GM chair to rebuild the Halos roster for 2026, working within Arte Moreno's spending constraints while staying under the $244 million luxury tax threshold. His strategy targets the Angels' core weaknesses through calculated moves: signing a new ace with elite command metrics, while trading for innings depth and solving the third base issue, while dramatically improving the team's contact rate and on-base skills. Jon rounds out the roster with veteran additions, creating a balanced lineup that pairs power threats like Mike Trout, Logan O'Hoppe, and Joe Adell with high-contact players. Discover how Jon constructs a competitive roster while staying $5.5 million under the luxury tax and addressing every weakness from 2025!
