SHOCK: RGIII A Legitimate THREAT to REPLACE Dave Aranda? Russell Wilson & NC State Changes It ALL!

RG3 shocks Baylor fans as a legitimate candidate to replace Dave Aranda—could Heisman history return to Waco? The conversation focused on how recent coaching searches are rewriting the rules, referencing NC State’s bold interviews with Russell Wilson and Philip Rivers. The discussion explored the modern appeal of hiring star alumni directly from the field or analyst booth, drawing parallels with Deion Sanders’ route and the potential “Flutie effect” for the Baylor Bears if RG3 returns.

A key theme that emerged was Big 12 power dynamics in the latest College Football Playoff rankings. Several points were raised, including Texas Tech’s puzzling drop despite a win, BYU’s top-10 status, and whether Notre Dame should consider Big 12 expansion for better playoff prospects. The episode closed with an in-depth look at Jay Hill as a sleeper pick for Baylor’s next head coach—his defensive success at BYU and recruiting prowess could reshape the Bears’ future in the Big 12.
