Are Baseball Fans *JUSTIFIED* In Feeling This Way About The MLB? | Blue Jays Rumours

The value of contracts paid out in the MLB has never been higher. With the signings of Juan Soto and Shohei Ohtani in the last two seasons, we can expect this upward trajectory of contract values to continue. However, when we see these big-name players hit free agency, the same handful of teams are the ones to land these superstars, leaving small-market teams out of the running. With two large market powerhouses making the World Series this past season, there have been takes swirling about the need for a salary cap and a salary floor to make the MLB more competitive for all teams. We’ll answer all these questions while providing you with the most up-to-date news and analysis on this episode of Locked On Blue Jays.
