Bassitt Speaks Out: Is the *PITCH CLOCK* the reason why pitchers like Spencer Strider are Injured?

The Toronto Blue Jays get a huge divisional win against the New York Yankees and are above 500 for the first time of the season. The Hound of the Mound did what he does best again, giving up one run over six and a third innings of work. This offense is still a problem, having runners in scoring position with 0 outs for all the first three innings and only coming away with 3 runs. Chris Bassitt commented on the pitch clock and the pitching injuries, stating that the injuries are more on pitchers and team personnel than the pitch clock itself, which has had some interesting responses from fans around the league. Tim Mayza has struggled so far this season; we look to figure out the root cause of these struggles. The Blue Jays take on Carlos Rodon and the Yankees tomorrow in game 2 of the series, where the Toronto Blue Jays look to win their third series in a row.
