Joe Hortiz Has Crushed his First Offseason as Chargers GM Creating Depth and Competitive 2024 Roster

Joe Hortiz inherited a terrible situation when taking over as Chargers GM with a top heavy, aging roster with a bad cap situation and many obvious holes. The new man in charge found value in the draft and free agency while building a team that will be competitive in 2024 and fit the identity that Jim Harbaugh wants. Dan and David grade the general manager’s offseason so far and discuss what the fiercest training camp battle looks like right now. Joe Alt, Trey Pipkins, and Jamaree Salyer will fight it out for the starting right guard and tackle positions while four linebackers try and show which two should start in week one. The guys also get into D Line coach Mike Elston’s comments on Jesse Minter calling him the best game day coordinator he has ever worked with.
