UNFINISHED: Commanders Luke McCaffrey GROWTH Benefits from David Blough; JUSTIFIES Patience

Trading third-year receiver Luke McCaffrey right now is a mistake. Despite a regression in his kick return numbers and low offensive volume early in his career, David Blough’s scheme provides the exact overhaul McCaffrey needs. Blough's parallel-route passing attack isolates targets in space, which directly plays into McCaffrey's yards-after-catch ability. Pair that with the offense finally moving away from predictable shotgun rushing concepts to improve early-down efficiency, and Washington has the structure to maximize his skill set.
