Florida Gators: National Championship or BUST in 2026 Season Under Todd Golden

The Florida Gators basketball program is walking into the 2026-27 season with a target on its back — and they're fine with that. Brandon Olsen was at Saturday's open practice and came away convinced this is a team that not only believes it can win a national championship, but is built to do it. The energy, the depth, the talent on the floor — Brandon breaks down everything he saw and what it means for Todd Golden's squad heading into the new season. From the returning pieces that already know what it takes to cut down nets to the new additions who are seamlessly fitting into the system, this Gators roster has the look of a genuine title contender. Brandon explains why the open practice reinforced what many have been saying all offseason — Florida isn't just hoping to make a deep run, they're expecting one.
