Why the Texas Longhorns lost to the Washington Huskies in the College Football Playoffs/Sugar Bowl

We saw the offensive shootout we expected, but the result was one that none of us hoped for. The game could have not ended any worse for the Longhorns and their fans, with Texas driving the ball all the way into the red zone with a chance for a walkoff win. Unfortunately, once Texas got into the red zone, they did not gain a single yard, which had been the Achilles heel of this team the entire season. Michael Penix Jr. and the Washington Huskies defeated Quinn Ewers and the Texas Longhorns to advance to the National Championship game, and bringing the Longhorns best season in over a decade to an end. Was anyone to blame for Texas losing, or was Washington simply the better team? What could Texas have done differently to make sure they advanced to play Michigan in the championship game? #HookEm Support Us By Supporting Our Sponsors!
