FATHER'S DAY: San Francisco 49ers Kyle Shanahan Looks to MAKE DAD PROUD with Super Bowl Championship
The San Francisco 49ers have had the closest Super Bowl loss in NFL history in a certain way, but Kyle Shanahan wants the victory and if he is able to get one it will put him a rare territory as he and his father, Mike, will both have rings to their name as coaches. Klint Kubiak and Brian Schottenheimer look to do the same with the Las Vegas Raiders and Dallas Cowboys, respectively. In big NFL news, Tennessee Titans defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons got the biggest deal for the position in NFL history. It is a deserved deal for the AFC superstar, but creates issues in the NFC with the Philadelphia Eagles as they look to lock up Jalen Carter long term. Finally, as we enter the summer break of the NFL calendar, Fernando Mendoza with the Raiders and Ty Simpson with the Los Angeles Rams are still unsigned. Cause for concern?
