Swing Skills: Can Scottie Barnes master the mid-range? And can Davion Mitchell & Ochai Agbaji find their niches? w/ Jamar Hinds

What are the most important swing skills for Toronto Raptors franchise player Scottie Barnes, as well as back-end rotation guys Davion Mitchell? In Episode 1709, Sean Woodley and Jamar Hinds (Raptors Republic) run through the skills that could most improve the status of Scottie Barnes, Davion Mitchell and Ochai Agbaji within the NBA if they can show some growth and development in 2024-25. Off the top, Sean and Jamar talk about Scottie Barnes, whose swing skills carry massive importance not just for him but for the Raptors franchise as a whole. Can Scottie learn to master the mid-range pull-up and even dabble with some more accuracy on pull-up triples? And can he become a more reliable lockdown wing defender? If he can do one or both, watch out. Next, they get into Davion Mitchell and why for him, his pick-and-roll craft is going to be a major swing skill for him as he looks to get back to his roots as a lead guard creator and carve out a role as the Raptors' backup point guard. Lastly, Sean and Jamar chat about Ochai Agbaji's swing skill, which simply put, is whether or not he can just hit shots. If he can, he's got a chance to stick in the league. If not, he might not have much more time in the NBA.
