ULM reportedly hires UAB assistant Ryan Cross as their new basketball coach—will this smart, local move finally revive a program that hasn’t seen a 20-win season in nearly a decade? Dave Schultz weighs the pros and cons, contrasting Cross's steady experience with the headline-grabbing appeal of candidates like Donnie Tyndall and Jason Williams. With major coaching vacancies across the league, the episode questions whether Sun Belt powers can rebound and who else will claim the region’s hottest jobs.
