Kayden McDonald Is the Texans' Next Defensive Difference-Maker | Stroud's Contract-Year Challenge

Houston Texans rookie Kayden McDonald has all the tools to become one of the biggest surprises of the 2026 season. Now, he'll continue his development under Texans defensive line coach Rod Wright, one of the NFL's premier developers of defensive talent. John Hickman and special guest Jay Stephens of Locked On Buckeyes break down why McDonald's pass-rushing potential is being overlooked, how his presence could strengthen Houston's run defense, and why playing alongside stars like Will Anderson Jr. and Danielle Hunter could create favorable one-on-one opportunities that accelerate his development.
