Texans Draft Buzz: Is Sam Hecht the NEXT Center in Houston?

The clock is ticking… ⏳ The 2026 NFL Draft is just 5 weeks away, and the Houston Texans are right in the middle of it all. Could a former walk-on be the answer in the trenches? On today’s episode of Locked On Texans, we break down one of the most intriguing names rising on Houston’s draft board — Sam Hecht out of Kansas State. A cerebral lineman who wins with positioning, leverage, and consistency. 👀 So does that fit what Houston wants to do up front? 👀 Could he thrive in a zone blocking scheme? 👀 Is Sam Hecht quietly becoming a Texans-type center?
