Will Anderson GETS PAID! + Who’s NEXT? Azeez, Henry To'oTo'o or Tank Dell? | Draft Countdown

Will Anderson just made HISTORY… and honestly, it was only a matter of time. The Houston Texans have locked in their defensive cornerstone with a record-breaking 3-year, $150M extension, making Will Anderson the highest-paid non-QB in the NFL — and he’s earned every dollar. From day one, he’s been box office. We’re talking: 30 sacks in 3 seasons Top-tier pressure numbers year after year Already 3rd among active players in postseason sacks And the biggest part? What he does in the regular season TRANSLATES when it matters most in the playoffs. But this move isn’t just about rewarding greatness — it’s about keeping the Texans competitive long-term. With Nick Caserio also picking up Anderson’s 5th-year option, Houston is setting up flexibility for the future… and we break down exactly how that impacts the roster heading into next offseason. 👀 Plus, who’s next in line for a payday? Azeez Al-Shaair 👀 (I’m calling a 2-year deal) Tank Dell 🤔 Henry To’oTo’o 🤨 I’ll tell you why I think only ONE of these deals gets done soon. ⏳ And with the NFL Draft just days away… What should Texans fans expect on Thursday? Could Connor Lew actually land in Houston after meeting with the team?
