ALERT- Did ON3's WVU Depth Chart GET IT RIGHT??

#WVU #WVUFootball #Mountaineers Did ON3 just tip their hand on West Virginia’s quarterback battle? Their projected depth chart for WVU this season is making waves — and Mountaineer fans are asking one big question: Did they get it right? Because at the center of it all is the showdown in Morgantown between S. Fox and Michael Hawkins Jr. Two very different styles. Two very different ceilings. One job. Fox brings familiarity, command, and system comfort. He knows what it takes inside the building. He’s steady. He’s composed. He’s the guy who understands the grind. Hawkins Jr.? He brings explosiveness. Dynamic athleticism. The ability to turn a broken play into a 60-yard headline. There’s a reason his name carries buzz. So when ON3 released their depth chart preview… did they lean experience? Did they bet on upside? Or did they miss the nuance of what this battle really is? This isn’t just QB1 vs QB2. This is identity vs evolution. Floor vs ceiling. Safety vs electricity. And if WVU is going to make noise in the Big 12, this decision might define the entire season. Let’s break down ON3’s projection, what they might be seeing, and whether they truly nailed it — or underestimated the fight happening inside that quarterback room.
