BREAKING-WVU to Add an NFL-Caliber Georgia Starter IMMEDIATELY per Reports!

WVU could be on the verge of adding an NFL-caliber weapon to its defense—and this one was starting for Georgia less than a year ago. According to reports from Pete Nakos and Matt Zenitz, former Georgia safety JaCorey Thomas is pursuing another season of college eligibility, has entered the transfer portal, and West Virginia has emerged as his expected landing spot. Thomas started eight games for Georgia in 2025, recorded 45 tackles and a sack, and later participated in rookie minicamp with the Carolina Panthers. Now, Rich Rodriguez and WVU could potentially add that SEC and NFL-level experience after the season has already arrived. Nothing is official until Thomas signs with WVU and his eligibility is fully cleared—but if everything comes together, this would be one of the wildest and most fascinating additions of the entire offseason.
