Chicago White Sox's Sean Burke named Opening Day starter + Joey Gallo's pitching dreams

Chicago White Sox manager Will Venable officially named Sean Burke as the Opening Day starter. This is the second straight Opening Day in a row where the White Sox will have an inexperienced pitcher get the honors. Hopefully, Sean Burke's season turns out like Garrett Crochet's 2024 did. Former two-time All-Star Joey Gallo requested his release from the White Sox as he wants to become a pitcher. Good thing the Sox decided not be a part of that sideshow. Finally, it is Monday so that means a Minor League Monday report going over the Sox Spring Breakout Showcase and an update on top 15 pitching prospect Mason Adams' elbow injury.
