The Athletic's Jim Bowden tweeted that the Chicago White Sox have been eliminated from the list of teams Japanese star pitcher Roki Sasaki will consider signing with. It was still a good idea for the Sox to check in especially since they rarely do that with premium free agents. Host Todd Welter explains why it was smart for the Sox to at least make a presentation given Sasaki's amateur international free-agent status. Todd then discusses some New Year's resolution to have regarding being a Sox fan in 2025. Finally, Todd discusses if the Sox gave up too much in a trade for pitcher Tyler Gilbert.
